Lester Buildings Unveils New Company Logo
Lester Prairie, MN - Lester Buildings, one of the nation's top suppliers of pre-engineered wood frame buildings, has unveiled a new company logo. Established in 1947 as a regional factory-direct company, the business has grown to include the industry's largest network of independent contractors with building sales from the Rocky Mountains to the East Coast. According to John Hill, Lester's President, the primary impetus behind the new logo is that the company feels it is really a completely new and different business than that represented by the previous logo. "Over the last few years, Lester has retooled itself from the ground up - distribution, products, sales and manufacturing technology. You name it, we've modernized it, and become much more potent in a very competitive industry," says Hill. "Best of all, we continue to see a strong and growing market impact from this effort. We just felt that the way we present the company and our product to the market should reflect this as much as possible," Hill adds. The new logo, says Tom Borgman, Lester's Marketing Manager, is a stylized update of both the original Lester logo used between 1947 and 1986 and the one that came into being with the company's association with Butler Manufacturing Company in 1986. "It's a little of the old and a little of the more recent look, combined in a more contemporary, lasting design," says Borgman. "We're in the process of moving full steam ahead with its implementation at our plants, on our fleet, on our buildings and at the local sales rep and dealer levels," Borgman added. Lester buildings cover a broad range of needs - from standard simple pole barns to custom, one-of-a-kind commercial structures and everything in between. Nearly 120,000 Lester buildings dot the American landscape today. |
