We have been well satisfied with the finished project (our stall barn) and the quality and usefulness of the structure. The Architectural plans and the Lester Buildings products worked very well together and the result has been most satisfying. Although we started the project in the dead of winter, the schedule was maintained. We like our barn and believe the use of locally produced exterior materials adds greatly to a pleasing and compatible appearance in this mountainous area of Central Colorado. We want to express our appreciation to the Architect, the General Contractor, and the Lester Contractors for the work they have accomplished at our ranch.
From inquiring about a Lester building, to the sale, to the completion, and to the usage, I couldn't be any happier with my new workshop. All the people involved did quality work, as you would expect. Unfortunately, that's rarely what you get these days. It was a breath of fresh air to see such a hardworking, dedicated group of people that work for Lester Building Company. They all should be proud of themselves, because I sure am and of my new building! Keep up the great work!
The process from beginning to end was a good one. From the planning of the building to getting the keys they [were] easy to work with. They went out of their way to make sure I got the building I wanted and I was very impressed by the strength of the barn. It will be around for a long time.
From start to finish, the whole project went as smoothly as we had anticipated. The advantages of post frame construction, such as quicker construction time and lower total project cost, make it a sensible alternative for commercial uses. The ability to make changes while the building was going up is an advantage that steel buildings do not have. The interior finishing and design were a snap because of the flush frame design and wood frame. The ability to have the exposed trusses painted black allowed us to keep the race theme throughout the whole building. This store is the prototype of the Race In store franchise and we are very pleased with the look, design and flexibility. We are definitely considering post frame construction for more of our stores.
