Boor has contributed more than 30 years to the post-frame industry as a structural engineer. He has been with Lester Building Systems since 1995. Over the years he has developed a number of hangars and clips, including the under-saddle hangar and torsion-free truss hangar. He is a member of the
American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and co-author of several ASABE standards and research papers. He has also been an active member of the National Frame Building Association’s technical research committee. In 2016, he developed the patented
Eclipse Roof System® for Lester Building Systems. The unique patented rib and snap-on batten system allows through-fastening of 36-inch wide concealed fastener metal roof panels.
