Our Distribution System
In general, our buildings are available through a large network of independent, locally owned Lester Building Dealers. In parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois, company-employed Territory Managers oversee sales and service. Where you build determines your distributor.

Curt Stephens, owner/operator of Stephens Construction Inc., began working for the company as a young man. "My Dad, Joe Stephens began Stephens Construction in 1969. I spent many a Saturday sweeping the shop and cleaning up after the crew on whatever job site they were at."

Curt finally "drew wage" in 1975 after starting as a full-time salesman for his Dad. He left the company in 1986 to finish his college education. Then he worked for Paine-Webber as an investment broker. After his father's death in 1991, Curt returned to manage the business and has been the local, independent Lester Buildings dealer since 1991. Curt and his wife Jackie purchased the Corporation in 1993.

Curt and Jackie along with their three daughters and one son currently live east of Colby in a beautiful old house they remodeled. Their home was featured in Restore America on HGTV in 1998.

Thanks for visiting and considering a Lester building for your project. Curt and Jackie remain dedicated to their customers and the business, and, look forward to their son Corbin starting to sweep the shop this summer!
