Lester Buildings sponsors Travis Sauter #5 at ARCA Fest
LESTER PRAIRIE, MN (May 27, 2014) – Racing for $10,000, family bragging rights, and a second win, Travis Sauter will race in a Lester Buildings No. 5 at ARCA Fest on Sunday, June 8th at the Milwaukee Mile. After a close second-place finish in 2013 to NASCAR star Kyle Busch, super late model racer Sauter will try for his second win at the 3rd Annual Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial (ARCA Fest) presented by RaceTeamGear.com. Travis won the inaugural 150-lap race at the Mile in 2012. In 2013, he battled side-by-side with his uncle Johnny Sauter, who finished third, and currently races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Last season Lester Buildings sponsored Sauter in his NASCAR Nationwide and ARCA debuts. Competing with the best racers in the country offered valuable experience to the third generation racer. Lester Buildings sponsored Travis’ father, Tim Sauter, from 2004 through 2007 in ASA Racing, the NASCAR Busch Series and in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Travis began racing street stock cars in 2002 in central Wisconsin and quickly ascended through limited late models to super late models. He now runs in the ARCA Midwest Tour, along with other special events. Travis has won the prestigious Oktoberfest 100 at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway three times and in 2012 he won the inaugural Howie Lettow Memorial 150 at the Milwaukee Mile. In 2013, he won his tenth consecutive race at Madison International Speedway.
