  • This custom hobby shop pole barn, known as Tim’s Man Cave, is a one-of-a-kind post-frame garage building designed around a truly unique concept—built around an existing tool shed to preserve a perfectly organized workspace. The customer had tools neatly arranged on all four sides of the original shed and chose to keep everything in place. Instead of relocating the setup, this Lester Buildings pole barn was constructed around it, creating a larger, enclosed garage and hobby shop without disrupting the existing layout. Finished in Bone White siding with Black wainscot and a matching Black roof, this pole barn garage delivers a clean, modern look with strong contrast and curb appeal. Built with a 4/12 roof pitch, the structure offers reliable performance and efficient interior space. Key features of this custom hobby garage building include: Clopay overhead doors for easy vehicle and equipment access AJ service door for daily entry Hayfield vinyl windows with shutters for natural light and added style A covered porch area for additional workspace or relaxing Concrete floor for durability and heavy-duty use DripStop moisture control to reduce condensation Gutters and a decorative cupola for functionality and visual appeal Inside, the building incorporates the original shed seamlessly into the workspace, making it a highly efficient and personalized garage hobby shop environment. This project is a perfect example of how a pole barn can be completely customized to fit a customer’s exact needs—even building around existing structures—creating a truly functional and personalized space.
